OpenHAB vs. Home Assistant — An easy decision

OpenHAB > Home Assistant, for me.

I’m sure there are argument that could go either way. However, given my constraints, it was an easy pick: OpenHAB.

My assessment was based on the following major milestones:

1. Setup a Docker container of Home Assistant on a fileserver computer
2. Flash a smart lightbulb with Tasmota
3. Install an MQTT server (made difficult by Home Assistant Container’s lack of add-on support)
